Aim and Objectives
The main objective of this project is to strengthen the craft business, not only boosting economic craft activity but also keeping craft professions alive in rural areas as a measure to prevent depopulation in these areas.
The specific Objectives :
To preserve traditional knowledge about craft professions through the information and knowledge management.
To gather information and knowledge about craft professions which is widely dispersed on Internet (forums, social media, YouTube, etc.).
To assess that material / evaluate the suitability of contents and classify according to the categories of our “The Handicraft Catalogue”.
To publish the validated and classified information on the project platform
To keep and update the contents on the platform, so the content is stored in a secure, global and sustained repository.
To address the training business needs of craft microenterprises to maintain its competitiveness in the European Market.
To create an online platform with Open Educational Resources with structured content according to the knowledge and experience of the target groups (basic, intermediated and advanced level).
To create the material content of training courses (online and face-to face courses) separating the legal bases (for those entrepreneurs who want to start a business) from the business strategy (intellectual capital management, financial strategies, etc.).
